November 17th - Welcome back!

Having missed last week due to Memorial Day, the G-Man had a bit of catching up with tunes to do. Fortunately, this was not a difficult task. We started off with a simple set of the New, Improved Aquabats. Specifically, a block of songs from their most recent album, "CHARGE!!" This block included:
  • Fashion Zombies!
  • Stuck in a Movie!
  • Plastic Lips!
  • Hot Summer Nights (Won't Last Forever!)
  • Awesome Forces!
  • Mechanical Ape!
Between Stuck in a Movie! and Plastic Lips!, though, we ran into a snag: our CD player err'd. Having no way to access or play our CD, we resorted to playing through conventional means - via YouTube videos! Damn it all!
After getting over that matter, we moved on to a belated round of "PRESS START!" Under upgrades, we played a Sega Genesis game this show, instead of just a dinky Nintendo game. Our game this week was "Toejam and Earl," a tale of two hip, funky alien bro's who've crash-landed on planet earth in their totally rad spaceship; now they've gotta put their ship back together! Earl was flying solo in this expedition, so we led him around through four levels (And the secret Level zero) before realizing the time and putting his adventuring on hold.
We helped end the show this week with songs by "Lemon Demon," the internet celebrity responsible for such songs as "Dance Like an Idiot," "Lawnmower," and "Word Disassociation."
The show was concluded with an edited version of "The Song of the Count," edited with strategic bleeps to sound dirtier than it really is.
Again, questions, comments, suggestions all appreciated. See you next week!
