November 24 - Remix'd

Today's opening set consisted of remixes. Only two in particular, but even so:
  • Radiohead "Nude." Remix by James Houston via old computer parts.
  • Styx "Mr. Roboto." Remix by POLYSICS, lyrics changed.
Around 3:30, it became time for "PRESS START!" This time, I decided we should go back to basics and play the original Sonic the Hedgehog; man, that guy was blazing quick for that time, wasn't he? Big change from the games of today.
After unsuccessfully navigating a maze of hot lava plumes and stupid robot caterpillars, I found myself without anymore lives, and so I decided we should reflect on our failure to overcome the hot elements with an appropriate song, Jerry Lee Lewis' "Great Balls of Fire."
To close the show today, I put on two requests, likely from some younger listeners. Specifically:
  • Boys Like Girls "Thunder"
  • Dragonforce "Fury of the Storm"
Hope those of you that read this posting enjoyed this week's show. And if you don't read this posting, then I silently mock you for not keeping up on the latest G-man-related events!
Out 'till next week, see ya!
